...we rose from the MLR last year with the burden and resolve to go and preach the gospel to all creatures. But the goal of the great commission is to make disciples of all nations; teaching them to observe all things I have taught you. As we pressed on with God on this matter and as we were released to go into all the world, it is clear to us that this is the vehicle to bringing to fulfilment all that God is holding out to us in this generation, with all its daunting challenges. Going to preach the gospel is one thing, knowing what to preach is another and yet grasping how to preach is a matter we cannot ignore. Several have gone forth and others are still going. Several platforms have been raised proclaiming different "gospel" and the cry of The Lord in our ears is so loud and overwhelming... "There have gone out preachers of another gospel! Men are blowing all kinds of trumpets which are not so clear as to bring in genuine harvest. Gather my people and equip them with the right trumpet to blow and the light to shine forth, for you to see the in-gathering of the end time harvest. In obedience to this instruction, we have called the Ministers' Leadership Retreat this year deliberately to consider what trumpet we must blow to the nations and what is our message to this generation.
We urge you to take your place in this end time move of God. You have been raised and are being discipled for such a time as this. God is placing in your hand that weapon by which He turned the world upside down before. It is the irresistible power of the gospel that breaks every yoke and sets the captives free. "Come, let me send you..." is the word from His mouth to us at this time.
